Workplace Exams

MSHA's Workplace Exam is required once per shift when a miner enters a new area. Mine operators are required to notify and remedy any hazards found.

  • Prompts the miner to complete when they enter an area not yet cleared

  • Document hazards by type, photos, and GPS location for clear communication

  • Notify, assign, and close out hazards from the field with a phone or tablet

  • Timestamped chain of custody for all changes made from creation to close out.
